In January, 2015 an oak border was installed along both sides of the Church just above the wainscoting. It was installed by Paul Robinson who also crafted and installed the pews and wainscoting. It is divided into approximately 130 spaces to accommodate 5 x 7 memorial plaques. They will be gold coloured with black photo engraving. Please see example plaque pictures below.
This is a wonderful opportunity to memorialize someone very special in your life. Particularly someone who may have no other memorial in the area. Also many would like to have their family name and history immortalized in this fashion. While we refer to them as memorial plaques they don't have to be restricted to memorials. They might also be used to commemorate an event, perhaps a reunion or a significant anniversary. We also believe this could make a truly beautiful Christmas or Easter gift.
The program has been popular but there are lots of spaces available. The cost is $275.00 of which $225.00 is considered a donation and eligible for a tax receipt. If you are interested give me a call.
