Our Parish held a campaign to collect donations for Ronald McDonald House based on items off of the Wish list. We collected several boxes of donations which were delivered at the end of July. Christy from Ronald McDonald House said 'What an amazing email to receive - These items will be so appreciated by our families.'

On May 10, 33 people were hosted at a Mother's Day Tea & Luncheon organized by The Outreach Mission Group and supported by members of the parish and the community. Voluntary donations were accepted for Harbour House and $400 was raised.

St. Luke's Earth Keepers extends a huge thank you to everyone who participated in the clean up of the Exit 6 Car Pool lot and roadsides. Thanks to the large turnout, we were able to clean all the way to the entrance to Mill Lake road and the on/off ramps. 67 bags of trash plus countless large items, such as tires, pumps, file cabinet drawers were picked up. The most valuable item found was determined to be a bolt of polypropylene twine, still in its box. The most unique item prize was given to Jason James for finding the Farmer's Ice Cream sign and a wedding sign. Thank you to McDonald's in Bridgewater and Tim Horton's in Chester for the prizes. This was our 4th year cleaning up this area and it is discouraging and disturbing to see so much garbage. But it is truly uplifting and encouraging to see so many people caring about their community. Thank you.
